Delete Secret

The delete functionality allows removal of secrets that are no longer needed.

Current Status

Coming Soon: The backend already exposes delete functionality, but UI support will be added in a future iteration.

Temporary Workaround

Until the UI is available, contact an administrator to remove obsolete keys.

Planned Features

• Confirmation Dialog: Double-confirmation before deletion
• Dependency Check: Warning if secrets are still referenced in active pipelines
• Soft Delete: Ability to recover accidentally deleted secrets (limited time)

Best Practices

• Audit Before Delete: Ensure no active pipelines reference the secret
• Document Removal: Keep track of why secrets were removed
• Clean Regularly: Remove unused secrets to maintain security hygiene
